Celebrate the start of something unforgettable as the Class of 2030 begins their O‑Week festivities!
Orientation Week — affectionately known as O‑Week — kicks off August 16 as new students move into their residential colleges, matriculate and take their inaugural walk through the Sallyport, marking their official entry into the Rice community. Throughout the week, students will build community, meet amazing faculty, explore campus resources and participate in traditions that have been forged by generations of Owls.
Make a gift to The Rice Fund and support the student experience from matriculation to graduation. Each gift strengthens undergraduate scholarships, residential college life, health and wellbeing resources and more.
Every new student will receive a reusable fan during the O-Week Rice Rally — a cool reminder that the Rice donor community is behind them as they start their student journey.
