Gifts to Human Impacts on the Earth Fund contribute to...
Your gift to Human Impacts on the Earth supports two dynamic programs in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences (EEPS). These programs provide undergraduate and graduate students with experiential learning and training to become the next generation of scientists developing creative solutions to balance resources, the environment, health, the economy and human curiosity.
(1) EXPLORE (Earth and Planetary Opportunities in Research) This program gives undergraduate students across Rice research and educational experiences relating to Earth, environmental and planetary sciences. All majors, including non-STEM majors, are welcome to work with EEPS faculty to enhance their knowledge and understand the scientific challenges facing the world today.
(2) The John B. Anderson Graduate Fellowship This fellowship supports graduate students as they develop science-based, sustainable solutions for some of the world’s most pressing problems.
