Gifts to School of Social Sciences Curricular Innovation Fund contribute to...
Supported by the Curricular Innovation Fund, the School of Social Sciences offers immersive experiences for students to connect what they learn in class to the real world, such as:
• Making an Exoneree – The new course offered by the School enables a select group of students to reinvestigate likely wrongful conviction cases, ultimately creating a multimedia campaign for their program participant. Students may travel to interview their participant and their loved ones to learn more about the cases and develop advocacy strategies.
• Social Policy Analysis (SOPA) – The interdisciplinary SOPA major focuses on policy design, analysis, and communication. Seniors participate in a research capstone seminar that involves working in teams, partnering with a community organization, analyzing a policy problem, and presenting their final research. You can make an impact with a gift to the Curricular Innovation Fund.
