Gifts to McMurtry College contribute to...
McMurtry’s shared spaces are where our community comes alive—from movie nights and watch parties to town halls, performances, and late-night study breaks. This year’s 24-Hour Challenge focuses on upgrading the technology that makes these moments possible, starting with long-overdue improvements to the commons and PDR computer systems.
The commons servers are over 15 years old. Although the projector and lens were upgraded two years ago, the system still struggles with sound quality and reliability. The PDR servers face similar challenges, limiting how students can use one of McMurtry’s most important gathering spaces. With the return of McTheater this past year, these upgrades are more essential than ever to support performances and creative programming.
Our goal is 250 donations. Every gift helps modernize infrastructure used by hundreds of Murts each day. Donate during the 24-Hour Challenge and help keep McMurtry connected, creative, and thriving.
