Gifts to Glasscock School of Continuing Studies contribute to...
The Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies is committed to engaging, educating, and empowering lifelong learners across Houston’s dynamic urban communities. Our students are problem solvers, progress seekers, and impact makers whose learning advances the social, educational, and economic vitality of our city.
At the Glasscock School, we pilot innovative programs and flexible pathways that respond to real community needs, from early childhood literacy to executive leadership and everything in between. We break down barriers and challenge preconceptions by broadening access to Rice’s research, teaching and resources through courses, certificates, and degrees that meet learners where they are — on campus, online, at work, and in the community.
We serve an incredibly diverse body of learners, including veterans, teachers, nonprofit and civic leaders, new college graduates, career changers and advancers, English language learners, and ever-curious community members. Their ages range from single digits to triple digits, because learning is lifelong. They shape every major sector of our workforce and civic life. For all of their differences, they share this in common: a desire to learn and a need for access. By making a gift during the 24-Hour Challenge, you can solve for both.
How can you empower Glasscock School students today? When you make a gift to the Glasscock School, you open doors to premier continuing and professional studies, philanthropy and nonprofit leadership, languages, graduate interdisciplinary studies, early childhood literacy, college and career readiness, and educator preparation programs that address critical regional needs. Our goal is to grow student and program support that removes financial and structural barriers to participation, and that goal can only be reached with your help. Together, we can make a difference.
We invite you to connect with the Glasscock School today by making a gift of support. Your investment in the Glasscock School, at any amount, is an investment in the future of Houston’s communities. Thank you.
